This Sumitomo FC-6S cleaver is awesome! It’s so easy to use, even for someone like me who isn’t a pro. I get clean cuts every time, which is exactly what I need for my fiber optic work. It feels really solid in my hand, and the automatic blade thingy is a great safety feature.
The only thing is, it’s a bit heavier than some other cleavers I’ve seen. But honestly, it doesn’t really bother me. If you’re looking for a reliable cleaver that’s easy to use, this is the one!

The FC-6S cuts fiber optic cables perfectly! No more ragged edges, which makes splicing a breeze. Using it is super easy, I figured it out in no time. However, I read some reviews online that said theirs broke after a while. Mine seems fine so far, but it does make me a little worried.
